Determined to make a technological leap into the 21st century to play online travel companies at their own game, they needed a marketing agency to launch their new digital hyperstores as a brand new communication channel.
Today’s consumers are no longer satisfied with dog-eared travel brochures when they’re planning their holiday trips; they crave immersive experiences and love to engage their senses with the latest technology. Flight Centre, with our help, has responded in style, imaginatively bridging the gap between online and in-store. Multi-screen flight offers, up-to- the-minute pricing information and touch screen content vie for attention with enticing videos of lively destinations and in-resort, real-time, streamed social content.
While most travel agents rely on third party content, especially for motion graphics and video, our CMS solution was entirely own-brand controlled, guaranteeing original and relevant material so that Flight Centre could soar above their competitors on wings of imagination. Back on the ground, the marketing collateral was designed to match the digital channel, featuring print-on- demand postcards to compliment the online story with a colourful in-store display.

Cleverly updating existing assets and conjuring up bespoke creative, we produced a suite of quick-fire animated destination slots, branded sales slots and an integrated Instagram stream for outward facing windows.
Inside the stores, where people tend to linger, more immersive 40-second destination pieces were created to tantalise work-weary eyes with exotic far-flung places.
To facilitate the brand transition, it was imperative that we were able to produce and deploy inspirational, engaging and relevant rich content from the get-go, so we needed a marketing agency with plenty of integrated in-store experience.
