Dominic Duffy

Managing Director

A product chap, an agency guy, an entrepreneur, and general herder of cats, Dom heads up the super-talented Bigkid team. His mantra, “Communication! it’s all about communication,” is so regularly voiced, the team has been known to chant it in their sleep. “There’s never a time it isn’t relevant…” he says. When not swanning about in work mode, Dom is likely to be dragging his family around live music venues, chugging Thatchers and cultivating tinnitus.

Dan Mitchell

Creative Director

A founding partner and serial foodie, Dan’s never-ending search for perfect recipe of conceptual design and communication clarity has become the trademark of what makes up the Bigkid brand today. When not devising innovative strategies, creating tactical marketing collateral or talking clever online content, he can mostly be found playing the piano, enjoying time with his family or following his beloved AFC Wimbledon.

Dan Tuck

Head of Design

Dan lives and breathes design. He is in his element when creating and developing compelling brands with an innovative visual outlook. Whether it’s a start up or a global brand, he’s always seeking new ways to engage and excite. He is also the studio humbug and firmly ensconced at the top of Mr Baars’ tea-making (or lack of) blacklist. Outside of work, Dan is an undisputed champion of DIY (with the scars to prove it) and longs to create the next Grand Designs masterpiece.

Gretlin Aumre

Digital Producer

Commercially minded, and a strong believer that, “not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted”, Grets strives to ensure end users are at the heart of everything she does. A Prince2 practitioner with a PgDip in Direct and Digital Marketing; organisation and ROI are never off her agenda. And when she’s not being all grown-up turning client goals into solutions, you’ll find Gretlin doing a spot of kickboxing and sugarcraft (though not necessarily at the same time). “I’m a lover of travel, interior design and elevensies,” she says.

Jon Baars

Senior Artworker

Jon’s all about the quality, leaving no stone unturned to ensure faultless, beautiful work leaves the studio each and every time. With over 20 years experience working with some of the UK’s biggest creative brains and th world’s best-loved brands, Jon is the font of all knowledge and artworker par excellence at Bigkid. As well as being a hands-on, versatile, problem solving lover of typography Jon’s a sometime player of decidedly average football. When he finally kicks that into touch, his passion for Pantone 729 (the official colour for tea) will hold him in good stead for years to come in the unreasonably thirsty Bigkid studio.

Julie Osman

Graphic Designer

Contrary to the image portrayed by her profile pic, Julie is undoubtedly the angel of the studio team. Entirely unflustered by events, deadlines or anything else for that matter, her inner kid loves to quietly dip into the nitty gritty detail of a meaty project. As well as possessing all the attributes of a great technical all-rounder, Julie  appears to have developed the uncanny ability to read Dan Tuck’s mind, spinning his scribbled concepts into creative gold almost at will. Known in the studio as Jules, sometimes MeJulie, she’s always happy to lend a helping hand when the chips are down Stock answer to most requests for help likely to be along the lines of, “Cappuccino please…”

Darren Wall-Budden

STUDIO MANAGER

DWB joined the advertising band wagon in the early 90’s, when computers were powered by oxon. A genuine people person, with a bespoke style of management that gets results and endears him to both clients and colleagues, the Dazzler’s at his best when he’s building a productive, happy working environment around him, or spending time with his two lovely kids. He’s a half decent footballer too, even better with a slight hangover, but while he’s might be banging the goals in for Raynes Park Vale FC Vets, the top of our Fantasy League ladder still eludes him.
